Job Description

Job Functions:

To negotiate consultancy fee, prepare and issuance of Consultant's Letter of Appointment. To ensure all tender exercise and calling for quotations are carried out according to the approved policies, procedures, and practices adopted by Emkay Group. To prepare Award Recommendation for Main Contract and Sub- Contracts; to streamline, review and ensure issuance of Main Contract and Sub-Contracts Letter of Award. To ensure timely submission of claims from Contractor and Consultants, to prepare a proforma for payment recommendation. To monitor and liaise with Consultants on the issuance of instructions on variation works and finalization of final account. To liaise with Consultants on handling contract administration, construction claims and contractual issues. To manage the timely reporting of Financial Statement by the QS Consultant to Project Management and Client. To control project cost to ensure overall budget of projects is maintained from inception to completion. Manage the Emkay Group database for the registration of contractors, consultants, and suppliers. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein or assigned quickly and effectively. To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the standard operating. Any other duties assign from time to time.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experiences from recognized Institutions.

Professional Experiences:

Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant working experience in the related field viz. Quantity Surveying with working exposure in Consultancy / Contractor and Developer. An eye for details, strong negotiation, and communication skills are important prerequisite.

Additional Requirements:

Flexibility to travel

as needed for board meetings, business trips, and events. Willing to work on

weekends and public holidays

as and when needed.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
