Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreements with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Ensure all contracts are in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements. Lead and manage contract administration throughout project lifecycle, including variations, claims, and extensions of time. Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure financial efficiency and profitability. Assess, evaluate, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks. Prepare and review progress claims, payment certificates, final accounts, and dispute resolutions. Provide contractual advice and support to project managers, site teams, and senior management. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and legal representatives on contractual matters. Maintain accurate records of all contractual correspondence and documentation. Contribute to tender preparations, cost estimates, and bidding strategies. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality management systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction law, standard forms of contract (e.g., PAM, JKR, FIDIC, CIDB, NEC), and local regulations. Proven experience in handling claims, variations, and dispute resolution. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in contract management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction project tools. Ability to work independently and lead a team under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
