Because here\xe2\x80\x99s the remarkable truth: When we all make together, we make all things possible.Let\xe2\x80\x99s make.Manage assigned Contract Manufacturers against Quality, Supply and Cost objectives throughout the product lifecycle, with an emphasis on Quality & SupplyAssist in the award decisions for NPI (new product introduction) and second sourcesOversee all day-to-day commercial issues in close collaboration with and support of engineering, quality and supply chain stakeholdersOperate as first point of commercial escalation for execution discrepanciesManage task forces to contain and resolve supply and/or quality issuesManage manufacturing improvement projectsAnalyze and benchmark all CM (contract manufacturers) costed BOM submissions with assistance from component sourcing managersAnalyze and benchmark all CM NRE (Non Recoverable Expenses) submissions with assistance from component sourcing managers and manufacturing/test engineersPlan and review production capacity based on demand forecastsAssist in the preparation and organization of quarterly business reviews with managed CMsQualifications8+ years of experience in high volume electronics design or manufacturing, either at an OEM or CM/EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services)BS in a technical discipline (MS not a luxury), demonstrated ability to understand technical issuesLocation: Johor Bahru, MalaysiaReports to: VP of Operations, AsiaDirect reports: none initially, but Cricut\xe2\x80\x99s business growth affords career development opportunities to high potential individualsLanguages: English fluency (written and spoken) is a must, mandarin and/or malay are a plus.Travel: none expected.
