:

Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Contracts Counsel (5 Months Contract). The Contracts Counsel position is responsible to provide legal support for all agreement templates, with a special focus on NDAs globally and other contract templates. The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As a Contracts Counsel (5 Months Contract), you will:

Prepare, review and manage agreements based on available approved templates as instructed.

Prepare, review and manage on a global basis non-disclosure agreements and requests, using internal guidelines and tools and working with Huntsman IP and other commercial counsel as needed.

Liaise closely with the business teams to take instructions.

Train and guide the business teams to use Apttus to make NDA requests.

Track progress and ensure timely finalization of NDAs.

Manage and maintain an NDA database via Apttus or other contract management system.

Manage precedents clauses and contractual options.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Laws.

At least 5 years PQE or Paralegal with at least 7 years work experience with a reputable law firm or multinational company.

Experience reviewing non-disclosure agreements is required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English; other languages a plus).

Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization and work with culturally diverse groups in multiple locations.

Must be highly ethical and have an ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Motivated and able to work independently. Flexibility in terms of working hours in view of the global nature of the NDA related work.

Well organized and detail oriented.

High level of proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools, internet, and email, and other programs as needed.
