RESPONSIBILITIES :

Specialize in preparing and cooking authentic Chinese Cuisine, including traditional Halal dishes. Ensure all ingredients, preparation, cooking processes, and food handling adhere strictly to Halal standards. Design and develop innovative and culturally authentic menus, incorporating both traditional and contemporary Chinese dishes. Prepare and cook dishes with precision, ensuring a balance of flavors, appealing presentation, and high-quality standards. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, as well as general workplace safety protocols. Manage stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records and minimizing food waste. Experiment with recipes, refine techniques, and innovate new dishes to expand the menu and attract diverse clientele. Understand and incorporate cultural nuances and dietary preferences of Chinese cuisine into menu offerings and operations.

REQUIREMENTS :

SPM or equivalent

Prefer Malaysian LOCAL Only (CHINESE/INDIA/MALAY)

At least

2+ years experience in Chinese Cuisine

Understands

Cantonese or Chinese Cuisine

Home Cooking Style & Taste Ability to read and follow a recipe by weighing and measuring ingredient Ability to work in team.
