Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in culinary skills, including various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Proven ability to manage food preparation processes efficiently and effectively.
• Experience in kitchen management, including inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
• Thorough knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure food safety and a clean working environment.
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Willingness to work full-time at the onsite location in Ipoh.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Assist in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning, to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to hygiene and sanitation guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service, contributing to a positive work environment.
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste and ensure adequate stock.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist in menu planning and development, providing input on new dishes and recipes based on culinary expertise and customer preferences.
