Location: George Town, Penang

Position: Corporate Accountant (6 months Contract) - Immediate intake

Tenure: Contract (6 Months), potential to renew another 6 months subject to individual performance and company requirement

Working hour: Monday- Friday (9am-6pm)

Remuneration: subject to experiences

Overview

Junior level role

Providing support in the Corporate Finance team for a range of tasks such as assisting in maintaining financial records, preparation of financial reports, and/or reconciliation of accounts.

Passionately hungry to learn more, has \xe2\x80\x9chustle\xe2\x80\x9d attitude to be part of the team to drive results.

Comfortable with ambiguity to self-learn more, a self-starter.



Assist in preparation of accounts consolidation, and compiling group management report.

Support maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation, in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Help with work related to internal controls and transactions on financial and accounting matters.

Assist/support division in preparing weekly/monthly cash flow statements.

Participate in internal and external audit processes as required such as liaising with external auditors, tax agents and/or company secretary.

When required/as assigned, support the team for month-end and year-end closing processes.

Support projects, corporate exercise and other corporate finance related work as and when assigned by reporting line supervisors.

Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed, not limited to the above as there may be adhoc tasks from time to time.

Job Requirements

Possess Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification eg: ACCA/CIMA/CPA

Minimum 1 to 2 years of accounting and/or analyst experiences.

Higher advantage if you have worked with or exposed to works related to in the manufacturing industry.

Knowledgeable in control, auditing or financing (definitely added advantages).

Good communication skills, attention to details and timely managing deadlines.

Proficient in MS Office especially Excel and Powerpoint

Self-starter, proactive (fast learner), can work independently with basic fundamental information and supervision.

A team player who is pleasant and approachable

Professional, positive personality and good attitude
