Job Description


The Corporate Affairs Senior Manager is a key position to champion government relationship, regulatory affairs and legislative matters that will impact the company\'s ability to operate in the local market.The Corporate Affairs Senior Manager is tasked to establish and maintain strong relationships with government bodies and local councils. Key responsibilities include:

  • Build Strong Government Relationships
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with government bodies, local councils, and key authorities. Secure the necessary support, approvals, and partnerships that align with the company\'s business objectives. * Corporate Affairs and Stakeholder ManagementLead corporate affairs and manage accounts related to government-linked companies such as TNB, utility services (fiber, water), state-owned agencies, local authorities, and federal government bodies. * Strategic Communication and EngagementManage corporate strategies including communication and stakeholder engagement initiatives. Lead and conduct educational and thought leadership workshops with internal expert teams to engage with external stakeholders effectively. * Regulatory and Liaison ManagementProvide leadership and support in liaison tasks with regulatory bodies and corporate stakeholders. Manage site acquisition processes, including approvals and permitting support, working closely with consultants and project delivery teams. * Government Documentation and ComplianceMonitor and drive the completion of government documentation and submissions necessary for project approvals and compliance with relevant authorities, supporting project teams as required. * Relationship BuildingOversee continuous management and nurturing of relationships throughout business operations, ensuring positive engagement with corporate affairs stakeholders. * Marketing and PromotionDevelop and execute ongoing marketing and promotional activities aimed at fostering positive relations with corporate and government stakeholders.Join a global data centre provider |Opportunity to be part of an exciting pioneer teamThe successful candidate is a seasoned professional in government relations, corporate affairs, regulatory affairs and policy making. Other requirements include:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Corporate Communication, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate affairs, regulatory affairs, or public administration.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and regulatory affairs.
  • Fluent in English and Malay with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and managing relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
