Business operating hours: 9.00 am-6.00 pm (Monday-Friday)
Job Responsibilities
Overall responsible to manage the corporate, governance and compliance functions of the Group ensuring that the Group\'s activities are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and ethical expectations.
Detail job functions:
\xc2\xb7Develop, implement and manage Group\'s corporate, governance and compliance framework, manual and procedures that align with the Group\'s strategic direction and facilitate strong and adequate governance and regulatory compliance.
\xc2\xb7Carry out periodic compliance review, assurance and examination programs on business and functional departments to ensure compliance/risk are effectively roll out the framework across the Group.
\xc2\xb7Develop, implement and manage Group-wide governance and compliance training and communication strategy for internal and external stakeholders.
\xc2\xb7Serves as the main contact person for the Group\'s governance and compliance matters.
\xc2\xb7Identify changes/updates in legislation and/or environment and communicate the impact to the management and coordinate with business units.
Candidate Profile
\xc2\xb7Malaysian, male or female.
\xc2\xb7Possess a Bachelor of Laws with ICSA qualification or corporate secretarial license.
\xc2\xb7At least 5-8 years experience in governance and compliance and/or corporate secretarial portfolio.
\xc2\xb7Demonstrate sound knowledge in the principles of local laws for Corporate, Governance and Compliance.
\xc2\xb7Familiar with company laws, regulations and procedures, disclosure requirements of local regulators, Malaysian code of Corporate Governance.
\xc2\xb7Good command of English and BM, verbal and written.
\xc2\xb7Proficient in MS Office and internet applications.
