British American Tobacco Malaysia has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Intern in Subang Jaya
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and energised intern to join GBS Corporate Finance (CFOM) team. The established CFOM function plays a meaningful role in providing quality accounting services and overall business support for end markets in compliance with their established policies and standard market procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• To execute a range of financial tasks, such as transaction processing, financial analysis, and reporting, using the appropriate systems (SAP-ERC, BI) and agreed standard processes.
• Perform period-end activities to ensure all transactions are posted accurately and period is closed as per timetable agreed.
• Response to queries in a timely and efficient manner to promote a business partnering culture in DBS.
• Perform GL reconciliations and follow-up on reconciling items to ensure all items are captured into the accurate GLs.
• Perform analysis and clearing of balance sheet accounts to ensure accounts are clean and suspicious transactions investigated.

What are we looking for?

• Final year student or graduate from Accounting / Finance Degree or Professional Certification who's able to join us in October 2025.
• Understanding the financial practices applicable to the daily tasks.
• Eager to learn, dedicated, resourceful and able to work in fast paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills, digital savvy, and a great teammate.
• Attention to detail, methodical and organized.
• Effective planning and time management skills.
