Corporate Finance Manager

Job Description

The Corporate Finance Manager oversees the full spectrum of financial management for the company, encompassing finance operations, financial reporting, and corporate finance functions. This role plays a key part in supporting project-based financial activities, including project cost control, cash flow planning, and profitability analysis. The incumbent will also lead statutory and internal audit processes to ensure compliance and strong financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Finance Operations



Oversee daily accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions. Ensure proper project cost allocation, tracking of work progress, and timely billing in coordination with project and procurement teams. Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements to support ongoing projects and operations. Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies.

2. Financial Reporting



Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and industry reporting requirements. Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory authorities during financial audits. Analyze financial performance, project margins, and cost variances to provide actionable insights to management.

3. Corporate Finance & Project Finance



Support the CFO in corporate finance initiatives, including financial planning, capital structuring, and funding arrangements. Develop financial models and projections for new solar or renewable energy projects and evaluate project feasibility. Participate in investment evaluation, tender pricing reviews, and risk assessments for projects. Prepare business cases and financial reports for management and board approval.

4. Audit & Compliance



Lead statutory and internal audit exercises to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Implement audit recommendations and strengthen internal financial processes and controls. Ensure proper documentation and transparency in all project and financial records.

5. Leadership & Collaboration



Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in financial work. Collaborate closely with project, procurement, and operations teams to align financial processes with project goals. Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting efficiency.

Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification such as

ACCA, CPA, or equivalent

is preferred. Minimum of

8 years' experience

in finance or accounting, with

exposure to project-based industries

such as construction or engineering. Strong background in

project finance management, cost control, and audit coordination

. Familiarity with

project accounting

, revenue recognition, and progress claim processes. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
