Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a Corporate Internal Auditor. Huntsman Corporate Internal Audit practices generally conforms with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA Standards) and adopts innovative and leading practices. As part of the Asia Corporate Internal Audit team based in Petaling Jaya, you will travel to various Huntsman sites throughout the Region to participate and/or lead various financial and operational audits. The role gives a unique insight into how the business operates internationally across all functions. As a Corporate Internal Auditor, you will: \xe2\x80\xa2 Review the internal controls in place within various operational and financial processes and determine the adequacy and effectiveness of internal procedures and controls \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify risks throughout critical processes and systems and assess the mitigating controls in place within the organization \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate compliance with corporate policies & procedures, laws and regulations mainly the Sarbanes-Oxley Act \xe2\x80\xa2 Assess the reliability and integrity of the disclosed financial information and support the accuracy of financial reporting according to US GAAP \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in ad-hoc special projects and investigations \xe2\x80\xa2 Requires up to 50% of travelling, regionally and globally (post pandemic) What skills and experiences are we looking for? Degree in Accountancy/Finance, professional certifications or related discipline \xe2\x80\xa2 4-6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in internal/external audit within a public accounting firm or large organization \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to understand process flows, challenge the set up and identify weaknesses \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent reporting and good written & communication skills in English. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical and persuasive skills and comfortable in communicating with all levels of Management \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of SAP is an asset \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of Sarbanes\xe2\x80\x93Oxley Act (SOX) and understanding of US GAAP requirements is an added advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during the course of employment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success What can we offer?
