Position Summary



Learn and support end-to-end corporate secretarial work under close supervision. This role will support our Corporate Secretarial team with statutory records maintenance, SSM filings, document preparation, data entry and day-to-day client coordination to help the team meet internal SLAs and regulatory timelines. Training and mentorship will be provided.

Key Roles & Responsibilities



Maintain and update basic statutory registers and files/records.

Assist to prepare and submit SSM filings (MBRS/MyCoID) and track statuses.

Support routine company changes (incorporation/updates/strike-off docs, etc); prepare checklists for review.

Keep client folders and databases organised, accurate and audit?ready.

Coordinate simple document requests and basic regulator follow?ups.

Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Secretarial team/department.

Requirements



Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Administration/Corporate Governance/ Law (LL.B.) or related field (MAICSA/ICSA/CGI student members are an added advantage).

Interest in Companies Act 2016, corporate governance and statutory compliance (prior exposure to SSM processes is an advantage).

Comfortable using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and eager to learn MBRS, MyCoID, and MyData-SSM.

Strong documentation discipline, accuracy and deadline management.

Proficient in both written and spoken in English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Willing and able to travel locally for submissions/collections when required.

Note: This is a corporate secretarial/corporate governance internship (not a general administrative or PA role).

Location:

Fully office-based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Working Hours



Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
