Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Cost Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance department. The role involves overseeing all costing aspects in our industrial/manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate costing data and supporting financial decision-making.You will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing cost standards for materials and labor.
• Preparing cost forecasts for new products and product updates.
• Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing budget costs to actual production costs.
• Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger.
• Conducting physical inventories and monitoring the cycle count program.
• Reviewing standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
• Reporting on breakeven points by products, work centers, and factories.
• Supporting and assisting internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification in CIMA/ ACCA/ CPA or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in a Cost Accountant role within the industrial/manufacturing sector would be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of costing principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Superb communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear manner.
