  • Manage and oversee the cost management deliverables of the projects together with the local project together with management team across APAC and project across APAC.
  • Prepare and/or review cost reports/financial trackers
  • Prepare and/or review cost plans
  • Contract/work order administration
  • Understand thoroughly and familiarize with the client\'s cost management procedure and execute the project ask per the guidelines
  • Preparation of contract documents / tender documents comprising BOQ / SOR including measurements
  • Tender Analysis and Tender Reporting
  • Manage and execute the change request process includes but not limited to evaluating the change initiated, assessing change request form prepared, change control log, request for approval & issuing project managers instruction
  • Validate the interim payment certificates for payment claim from vendor and retrieve necessary approval
  • Ensuring financial closure for the projects are being completed as per the stipulated process and timeframe
  • Liaise closely and provide support to the procurement team as required
  • Provide guidance to assistant cost manager to carry out the necessary tasks
  • Work closely with the other function lead and provide support as per required
  • Identify areas/aspects that could further enhance the efficiency of cost management deliverables and highlight to the relevant function
  • Ad hoc duties as per assigned
Qualifications
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or equivalent.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and experience across the full range of Cost Management deliverables including but not limited to: Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Cost reporting, Procurement, Contract Knowledge, Change Orders and Final Account close-out.
  • Experience from consultancy background is preferred with commercial fit-out, manufacturing, industrial, data center, base build construction preferred
  • Team player with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiation, persuade others and mitigate conflict
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products and preferable to be proficient in Cost X
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Detail Oriented, Result Oriented, Pro-active/self-starter, Open minded, Persistence, Organised and logical thinker
