Featured Country Accountant Country Accountant (KL) About Our Client This company is a well-known MNC in the trading and distribution business with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe. They are looking to hire a country accountant to be based in Kuala Lumpur to support the senior management and manage regional accounts. Your Key Responsibilities Includes Handle day-to-day operation of the Finance team in accordance with group guidelines and deadlines. Coordinate with the shared service team on closing activities Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance Co-ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements Lead projects on process improvement, streamlining and re-engineering Ensure proper submission of tax returns and coordinate with tax agents for tax-related matters. Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax The Ideal Candidate Should Have At least a bachelor\'s degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW,MIA etc.) A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in audit or commercial.
