About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Country Sales Manager
to drive sales of
Ex-Certified (explosion-proof) & Rugged communication and computing products
across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei. The role combines sales leadership, technical expertise, and regional market knowledge to grow our presence in hazardous-area industries.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales growth through distributors and direct engagement with oil & gas, marine, offshore, power, and industrial clients. Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle.
Market & Product Expertise:
Understand customer needs in hazardous environments, provide solution-selling support, and stay updated on ATEX/IECEx standards and industry trends.
Channel Management:
Build and maintain strong distributor relationships; support partners with strategies, training, and product knowledge.
Customer Management:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers in the region.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Report to Singapore HQ; provide accurate pipeline tracking, sales forecasts, and performance updates.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal product and technical teams; support product launches, training, and webinars.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred). Minimum 5 years of sales or business development in Oil & Gas, Marine, or Petrochemical industries.
Regional Experience:
Proven sales track record in Malaysia, Indonesia, and/or Brunei.
Product Knowledge:
Strong understanding of hazardous-area certified products (ATEX/IECEx) and rugged communication/computing solutions.
Skills:
Strong business development and key account management abilities
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to work independently, under pressure, and remotely
Strong communication in English & Malay; Bahasa Indonesia/Chinese an advantage
