Role Overview



The

Country Sales Manager

acts as the regional business leader, responsible for driving end-to-end sales strategy and execution across four high-growth Asian markets. The position blends

strategic business development, key account management, channel expansion, and market intelligence

, with direct ownership of revenue targets, customer satisfaction, product launches, and quality claim resolution.

The role demands a professional with

strong regional sales leadership experience within the flexible packaging industry

, capable of managing large multinational customers while expanding distributor networks and identifying emerging application markets.

Core Responsibilities1. Business Growth & Strategy

Develop and execute

regional growth strategies

focusing on revenue expansion and long-term customer retention. Identify

new applications, sectors, and sales channels

through continuous market research. Analyze competitor activity and deliver

daily market intelligence updates

to headquarters.
2. Sales Execution

Manage the

complete sales cycle

: Lead generation Client qualification Technical/product pitch Commercial negotiation Order closure After-sales support Deliver

monthly product-wise volume and VA targets

across multiple countries. Drive

cross-selling and upselling initiatives

to maximize wallet share.
3. Client Relationship Management

Build and sustain

strategic relationships with converters, brand owners, FMCG manufacturers, and regional distributors.

Conduct frequent

business development meetings

with prospects and key accounts. Act as the

primary customer escalation contact

for service issues and quality claims.
4. Product & Market Development

Lead

new product management

, coordinating: Rapid sample development Customer trials Feedback loops with manufacturing and technical teams Identify opportunities for

specialty films, higher-margin grades, or customized solutions

5. Operations & Commercial Support

Ensure

on-time collections and payment follow-up

to maintain healthy cash flow. Work closely with internal supply chain, production, and quality teams to: Resolve quality claims Support logistics coordination Maintain reliable delivery performance
6. Regional Representation

Serve as the

local and regional brand ambassador

, strengthening market presence and reputation. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and major customer meetings across Southeast Asia, China, and Taiwan.

Essential Qualifications

5-10+ years experience

in

Flexible Packaging / BOPP / PET / CPP films

sales Proven

regional or multi-country sales management exposure

Demonstrated success in managing

key global accounts

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields Willingness to travel extensively across Asia

The ideal Country Sales Manager will have:



Deep understanding of

flexible packaging value chains

(resins ? extrusion ? film ? lamination ? converting ? FMCG brands) Strong

B2B large account negotiation experience

Ability to operate both strategically (growth planning, market expansion) and tactically (hands-on sales execution) Commercial acumen -- pricing strategy, margin improvement, credit discipline Excellent stakeholder management (clients, distributors, production managers, global headquarters)
