Minimum Qualification: SPM A renowned private college in Jalan Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Course Counselor to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates with a minimum qualification of SPM who have a background in educational counseling or a related field. While 2-3 years of experience is preferred, it is not required. The Course Counselor will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the application and enrollment process, ensuring a smooth transition into our college community. Responsibilities:

• Assist prospective students in understanding the various courses and programs offered by the college.
• Provide information about admissions requirements, scholarships, and financial aid options.
• Guide students through the application process, helping them complete and submit required documentation.
• Address inquiries and concerns from students and their families in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout their academic journey.
• Collaborate with college staff and faculty to stay informed about course updates, events, and other relevant information.
• Participate in college events, open houses, and promotional activities to represent the college and engage with prospective students.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups.
• Must be a Malaysian citizen.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of SPM; a diploma or degree in a related field is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in educational counseling or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• A genuine passion for helping students succeed in their educational goals.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and promotional activities.
