  • Collaborate with the team to oversee AR collection and monitor credit status.
  • Reconcile AR accounts, post journal entries, and ensure accurate collection matching.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for the yearly audit, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of required records.
  • Monitor and address overdue collections through reminder letters, emails, and information gathering from sales/customers.
  • Generate monthly statements of accounts, sending reminders for long overdue payments.
  • Conduct frequent follow-up calls with customers to expedite outstanding collections.
  • Provide daily collection performance reports to superiors and the team.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
  • Offer accounting support, including treasury-related tasks and invoicing functions, as needed.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven working experience of 2-3 years in credit control or accounts receivable.
  • Strong knowledge of credit control principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a disciplined approach to task completion.
  • Strong integrity & able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to credit control is preferred.
  • Required language(s), English & Bahasa Malaysia.
