To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Plasma Control Technologies division at the Penang site as aCustomer Service Representative - CSR 1For 75 years, we have been following our curiosity. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication.In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.Main Tasks and targets

  • Customer service representative helps customers with questions, take orders, and process invoices and returns
Tasks/Responsibility
  • Monitoring and acknowledging customer demand signals using customer portals
  • Respond to all Customer communication messages promptly
  • Have regular meetings with the customer buyers to maintain strong relationship
  • Own primary accountability for OTD performance 100% per Customer contract
  • Maintain Customer orders from entry in SAP to final goods delivery
  • Place and track factory orders with Comet locations worldwide to maximize OTD
  • Expedite Customer orders with Planning and other functions as needed
  • Manually maintain scheduled ship dates in SAP for intercompany POs and Sales Orders
  • Ensure proper shipments to Customers\' and Comet\'s locations
  • Maintain customer portal with delivery data based on scheduled ship dates and factory of origin
  • Invoice all Customer deliveries daily for both standard orders and consignment consumption
  • Own resolution of order and delivery related Customer problems / escalation processes
  • RMA quotation and shipment follow up
  • Provide backup support for other CSRs during absence
  • Additional accounts and projects may be assigned, as required
Working experience/technical skills/know how
  • Bachelor\'s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years Customer Service experience
  • Customer portal management, consignment inventory management experience preferred
  • MS Office well known, preferably Excel supper user level
  • SAP experience in sales module is preferred
  • Must know what OTD really means and how it is affected and improved
Personal skills (Leadership, social skills)
  • Teamwork approach to work. This includes working with planning, Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Warehouse/Logistics to meet the business needs
  • Must be comfortable building and maintaining professional relationships with customers
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written).
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Creative and analytical skills
  • Enjoys working with people
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mind-set, diligent and accurate while
  • working under a time pressure.
