Customs Officer.

Our client is a well-established MNC manufacturer in Taman Murni Senai, Johor Bahru.

Industry: Manufacturing/Production (Chemical/Plastics)

Working Hour: Monday to Friday

:

• Responsible for LMW license renewal/application, monthly/yearly reports submitting to customs.
• Handle duty exemption application for all incoming spare parts requirement for the site.
• Ensure and comply proper documentation for LMW audit system and compliance.
• Handle duty exemption application for additional business needs from time to time.
• Liaise with respective customs officer on all LMW requirement.
• Responsible for handling import/export documents application and reports to relevant government authorities when necessary - MIDA, MITI, customs office and etc.
• Assist the team in handling inbound and outbound shipment.
• Apply duty exemption when necessary.
• Work closely with Logistic, Customer Service, Materials Planner and Warehouse on all LMW requirement.
• Arrange and monitor daily shipment from external warehouse (GBA Warehouse), prepare documents (CIPL, DO) for all material movement from site to external service provider and vice-versa.
• Arrange materials transfer to sub-contractor.
• Follow up shipment.
• Liaise with transporter to arrange the shipment.

Requirements:

• Min. 3 years of relevant working experience in logistics/shipping function, manufacturing industry is preferred or relevant.
• Min. Diploma education level in any discipline.
• Required language - English, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Required knowledge - LMW, Duty Exemption.
