Job Title: Data Analytic Associate

Job-Family: Associate Engineer, IT Engineering

Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities

Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or other tools (Tableau, Qlik, Looker). Use strong visualization techniques to present trends and insights from complex data. Convert business needs into clear and meaningful visuals. Use SQL, Python, or DAX to build custom datasets for reporting. Ensure data quality by integrating and checking data from different systems. Automate data refreshes and improve dashboard performance. Work with data scientists and engineers to include visuals in larger data products. Support projects involving LLMs, Generative AI, or prompt engineering. Follow best practices for dashboard design, documentation, and version control.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or similar. At least 3 years of experience in analytics, BI, or dashboard development. Strong skills in Power BI (or Tableau, Qlik, Looker), including data modeling and DAX. Good knowledge of SQL and Python for data transformation and automation. Experience building custom datasets and linking them to dashboards. Strong understanding of data storytelling and dashboard user experience. Basic exposure to LLMs or AI/ML is an added bonus. Experience with REST APIs and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus. Good communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
