Responsibilities:

Validate the approval entry requests for any client personnel and vendor before allowing any entry into the Data Centre.

Escort of client personnel (staff & vendors) into the Data Centre raised floor for pre-planned change activities and emergency break-fixes.

Open the designated rack and monitor the change activities to ensure compliance with human safety & physical security practices.

Perform post-installation inspection to ensure compliance with Data Centre house rules and Data Centre installation standards relating to facility usage or change.

Provide visual inspection of client equipment based on request as part of the assistance to the client during remote troubleshooting.

Act as liaison with the DC Engineering team for facilities-related issues such as power or cabling issues.

Monitor the general environment of the Data Centre in terms of cooling, humidity, and security.

Perform routine inspection of the state of the Data Centre and remediate or escalate abnormalities.

Escalate any non-compliance or any anomalies to the Data Centre Management team.

Properly file and upkeep all relevant Data Centre forms and documentation.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or any related field

Knowledge of systems infrastructure including hardware configuration, operating system, and networks

Data Center Facility experience or working knowledge and experience is a plus

Good communication skills and willingness to learn

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Shift Schedule:

2 Days (Day), 2 Days (Night) \xe2\x80\x93 12 Hours Shift

Hours: 8 am \xe2\x80\x93 8 pm (2 Days) and 8 pm \xe2\x80\x93 8 am (2 Days) \xe2\x80\x93 4 Days Off

Location: No 10A, Jalan Bersatu 13/4, Section 13, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
