About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, developing robust data pipelines, and creating predictive models that drive key business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline & Workflow Management:

Develop, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and data processing workflows.

Data Analysis & Modeling:

Collect, clean, and analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling:

Build, implement, and maintain machine learning models and statistical algorithms to support business processes and forecasting.

Collaboration:

Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Data Quality & Availability:

Collaborate with the data team to ensure high data quality, integrity, and availability for analysis and reporting.

Data Visualization:

Design and implement data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Presentation & Communication:

Present findings, model outcomes, and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively to senior management and other stakeholders.

Industry Trends:

Stay current with the latest technologies, tools, and techniques in data engineering and data science.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a track record of analyzing complex data sets and building predictive models.

Programming Skills:

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as

Python

,

R

, and SQL*.

Machine Learning:

Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques and libraries (e.g.,

Scikit-learn

,

TensorFlow

).

Data Visualization:

Practical experience with data visualization tools like

Tableau

or

Power BI

.

Statistical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of statistical concepts, algorithms, and model-building.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. A collaborative mindset with excellent teamwork skills.
