The Position We are the Data & Analytics Chapter within Global Informatics at Roche - one of the largest biotech companies with 125 years of history and in the top 10 biggest R&D spenders worldwide. Years of relevant working experience Minimum 3 years\' of relevant experience Academic Requirement Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent work-related experience) Key competencies Education in related fields (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Information Systems) or job experience preferably within multiple Data Engineering technologies 2+ years experience with data engineering, data analyst and/or data quality assurance required Hands on experience as Data Engineering in Cloud Data Solutions (AWS preferred) Experienced in ETL/ELT technologies Experience in preparing and reviewing new data flows patterns Excellent Python Skills Strong RDBMS concepts and SQL development skills Good knowledge on NoSQL databases, such as Marklogic, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB Strong focus on data pipelines automatization Exposure in quality assurance and data quality activities are an added advantage.
