Own It :

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Extracts and transforms structured and unstructured big and small data to generate features.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements for greater scalability.
• Improve and maintain the data lake setup.
• Assist the team to solve data-related technical issues and support their data platform needs.
• Peer review Pipeline code and ensure standards are met.
• Ensure data quality through automated testing.

Build Trust :

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and projects in the modern Data Engineering/Data Lake/Big Data space.

One Team :

• Working collaboratively with the team to identify process improvements within the business.

Move Fast :

• Adapt, simplify and act quickly.

Job Requirements :

We are looking for a candidate with 5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role, who has attained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field. They should also have experience using the following software/tools

• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in building data lake/warehouse solutions consisting of structured and unstructured data.
• Experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
• Experience with AWS cloud services: Athena, Glue, EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift.
• Good to have object-oriented/object function scripting languages knowledge: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
