Job Description

As a Data Engineer Specialist, you will responsible to analyze, build, maintain, optimize, and responsible for data retrieval, storage, and distribution of Data and Analytics tracks to support the business requirements/Data Lake or ERP Analytics applications. In addition, you will be playing critical role in different phases of the development during and after the project, as well a supporting the architecture in place (ingestion, transformation, publication) and delivering enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Data Lake technical solutions implemented support and implementation, as defined by Data Analyst and validated by the Data Architect.

• Focus on the technical configuration aspects (i.e., in the data lake) including data ingestion and integration frameworks.
• Support the Data Analysts and Data Scientists in developing optimized data models, pipelines and frameworks
• Build new or enhance existing data pipelines for optimal extraction, transformation, and load from various data sources, using different possible languages and technologies.
• Identify, design, and implement technical improvements including by evaluating and deploying new architecture for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes. Perform trouble shoot if required.
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.

Display the requisite verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas / designs to team in multiple functional areas and at varying levels of technical understanding. Ability to mentor interns and juniors. Collaborate with different roles within different team in different region. Proactively cultivate and maintain good relationships with team and others to meet expected customer service levels

Share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities as well as the ability to act effectively as a team member

Work in an agile and within strong governance in a global environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Consistent record of between 6-8 years\' validated ability, with strong ETL/ELT workflow experience in design, configuration, data mapping, extraction, transformation and loading and writing strong code and maintaining it.
• 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of technical expertise with data models, data mining, segmentation technics, data/systems analysis, design, development, and implementation
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Scala, Python, Sql, NoSql, etc.
• Analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
• Must have a strong systems and process orientation
• Able to work remote efficiently with minimal direction.
