In this role as Master Data Governance (MGD) Data Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring that SAP MDG system is meeting all business requirements related to data models, business processes, company\xe2\x80\x99s structure and other business needs allowing smooth execution of the master data processes.

You will proactively interact with GSB Data Office Data Management Teams, Process Design Leads, Data Custodians, Data Stewards, SAP MDG IT project and support teams and business users whose business processes and transactions are relying on the quality and accuracy of the data maintained in the timely manner according to defined processed and agreed SLAs. MDG Data Steward will be also considered as main point of contact to provide all necessary KPIs, data and systems insights required to monitor BAU processes as well as to support various business units and company\xe2\x80\x99s business projects. On top of that person in the role will coordinate the activities related to continues adjustment and improvements of the system in the area of the data model and processes to ensure it is aligned with Company\xe2\x80\x99s Policies and Compliance requirements.

Accountabilities

• Cooperate with Data Custodians and IT support team on proper Data Model configuration in SAP MDG system,
• Plan and coordinate data quality initiatives related to the data governed in SAP MDG,
• Manage or coordinate maintenance with IT support team to ensure proper SAP MDG Master Tables configuration and content as well as managing assignment or re-assignment to the proper users,
• Proactively monitor and identify inactive users and work with their function to agree on their replacement to eliminate potential workflow process stoppers,
• Coordinate SAP MDG Change Management process among IT, Data Management Teams and business users. This might be related to system enhancements or issues resolution,
• Manage priorities and ensure alignment among Data Custodians, Process Design Leads, Data Management Teams and business users for SAP MDG system configuration changes and enhancements,
• Manage SAP MDG issues and their resolution with applicable IT supporting teams, Data Management Teams and business users,
• Monitor interfaces between SAP MDG and downstream SAP systems, identify issues and coordinate root cause analysis process and their resolution,
• Provide expertise and perform or coordinate necessary actions to ensure system users have the right system access and assignment to the required workflows/activities in the system,
• Pro-actively interact with Data Management Teams and business users involved in SAP MDG processes on the required access related or master tables updates,
• Understand and advice business users and Data Management Teams on SAP GRC roles required for getting proper access to SAP MDG system,
• Plan and coordinate UAT related to issues resolution, system enhancements and configuration changes,
• Drive MDG system improvement and optimization through collection of the feedback from system users, Data Custodians and process design leads,
• Identify and coordinate setup of organizational units addition or deactivation (i.e. new Company Code, Sales Org, Purchasing Org, etc), reference data (i.e. new values on drop down lists, new Payment Terms, Payment Methods, etc),
• Coordinate or perform Bank Master Data upload process from Lexis Nexis,
• Generate and distribute on periodic basis KPIs related to volumes and performance of the processes with the different granularity levels (global, regional, country) and share them with the agreed recipients,
• Identify processes and identify the bottle necks related to their performance,
• Provide expertise on SAP MDG system configuration (data model and processes) including regional and local differences to GBS Data Office teams and business users,
• Prepare or coordinate data extracts from the system according to the various business needs,
• Provide reports and insights from the system required for compliance and audits,
• Other tasks that might be required to ensure SAP MDG system is fully aligned with business policies, data model changes, process and organizational changes and business projects.

Essential for the role

• You have minimum Bachelor Degree in any field
• Good understanding of master data processes operated on SAP MDG system,
• Experience with master data maintenance activities in SAP systems,
• Good understand of IT systems architecture,
• Experience in project management, Data Quality initiatives (planning and execution),
• Good communication skills & presentation skills.
