JOB SUMMARY

• To reduce defects in process/equipment for the purpose of line yield, sort yield and reliability improvement.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for process defect pareto and indices.
• Champion/participate in defect reduction program for yield and reliability improvement.
• Troubleshooting defect excursions.
• Process flow segmentation to introduce inspection steps at critical process.
• Yield forecast/modeling base on defect point of view.
• Responsible for defect review limits, SPC trending, specifications and disposition procedures.
• Create and optimize inspection and review tool recipes.
• Participate in recipe quality improvement tasks.
• Champion/participate in tool capacity improvement projects.
• Provide support to Manufacturing.
• Participate in equipment acquisition process - EE and PE release.
• Supervise, train and coach Engineers, Associate Engineers and Manufacturing personnel.
• Participate in cost reduction activities.
• To contribute towards the achievement of quality objectives by complying to the quality operating system and participating in continuous improvement activities (defect prevention, reduction of variation or prevention of waste).
• To contribute towards the achievement of the EHS objectives by complying to the EHS policy and participating in the implementation of EHS management system.
• Any other assignment deems fit that shall be given to you from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Science with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

• Knowledgeable in semiconductor manufacturing process.
• Computer literate and Knowledgeable in Microsoft.
