Your Role The planner is responsible for creating and owning the demand forecast as well as converting that forecast into a production requirement/master production schedule to be handed over to the Sourcing Unit/copackers. Your Key Tasks Demand Planning: Drive S&OP process in the business (identifying gaps in forecast vs target, orders vs. forecasts and supply vs. orders) Responsible and ensure 24 month rolling volume forecast is available and is communicated to all sourcing units through different IT systems for operational planning purposes Perform sales analysis and understanding key trends. Focuses on collaborative \'bottom-up\' planning with Customer Development, Brand, and Customer Supply Chain. Continuously improve forecast accuracy to deliver high customer service levels and simultaneously support the reduction of finished goods inventory. Lead implementation of any new S&OP tools/processes in association with Demand Planning Excellence. Forecast uploading for Distributor markets (Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand) Supply Planning: Responsible for the creation of the midterm plan and liaise regularly with the sourcing units to ensure market volume requirements can be met. Key objective is to convert forecast into the production plan while managing inventory levels, filling and component capacity, and customer service. Cost optimization and network capacity management (short and long term) are key ongoing priorities. To work with customer service team on stock allocation when facing tight supply of finished goods to improve customer service level. To monitor aging stocks for finished goods and liaise with Sales and Marketing on the short shelf-life FG to reduce potential business waste. Stakeholder Management and key interfaces This role will interact with Marketing, Customer Development and Finance as part of the S&OP process as well as the 3PM in Malaysia and other sourcing units.
