Position: Demi Chef - Japanese Izakaya (pre opening)
Location: Seapark
We are looking for an experienced Demi Chef to support our kitchen operations and lead sections during service. Ideal for someone who has worked in izakaya / Japanese casual dining and wants to grow into a CDP role.
Responsibilities
Responsible on hot/grill station during daily service
Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, and mise-en-place
Ensure plating consistency based on izakaya standards
Maintain kitchen hygiene, organisation, and safety
Monitor stock rotation and reduce wastage
Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years kitchen experience (Japanese cuisine preferred)
Previous experience in grill station is a plus
Able to handle fast-paced service
Willing to work nights, weekends, and PH
Working Hours
5.5 days per week
Salary & Benefits
Basic: RM 2600 - RM 3200
