About the Role:

As a Demi Chef, you will assist the Chef de Partie in running a specific section of the kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to standard while helping to supervise and train junior staff. This role is well-suited for someone who already has basic culinary experience and is looking to grow into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a kitchen section Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards. Support and train Commis chefs and Kitchen Helpers. Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained. Monitor stock usage, assist with ordering, and reduce wastage. Contribute ideas for menu development and dish improvements.

Requirements:

Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent. At least 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen. Solid knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations. Team player with good communication and organizational skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Passion for culinary growth and career development.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
