-Implement and manage global and/or local ocean freight products and trade lanes/networks, as well as the procurement strategy for FCL and LCL products.

-Identify potential business opportunities by reaching out to prospective customers from different countries.

-Adhere to approved budgets, sales volumes, and timelines for all sales and marketing activities.

-Maintain consistently high operational standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

-Keep track of daily operational productivity and profitability, ensuring service quality and fostering a skilled workforce.

-Collaborate closely with the Customer Service team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of services.

-Foster positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, agents, and government agencies to achieve export objectives.

-Oversee and provide necessary training and development for the Ocean Export team.

-Monitor ocean export scheduling and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for strategic delivery planning.

-Regularly review and enhance the efficiency of the Ocean Export team and logistics Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

-Ensure all tasks and activities are conducted professionally, ethically, and with timely execution.

Requirements

-A minimum of a bachelors degree, preferably with a major in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management.

-A preferred minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding field.

-Extensive expertise in handling various shipment types, including LCL, FCL, Transhipment, and Nomination shipments.

-Candidates with experience in the forwarders/shipping line industry will be given priority.

-Strong exposure to international market segments, particularly USA trade lanes.

-Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

-Candidates with exposure to multinational corporations (MNCs) and/or public listed companies are preferred.
