We are looking for a Design Lead who will lead property expansion activities for the business from interior design to project management. If you have strong skills in interior design, construction methodologies and project management, this is the role for you. You will thrive in a fast paced working environment. You will connect with Landlords, Enterprise clients, Designers & Contractors. You will create efficient and aesthetically pleasing interiors within the budget and bring our design philosophy to life. ROLE AND RESPONsIBILITIES Lead and develop the Design & Expansion team to innovate and deliver on new properties shaping the future of workplace design Manage and coordinate all expansion projects; evaluate and resolve feasibility, design optimisation and delivery issues Manage all phases of projects, including project kick-off, scheduling, design and construction administration, budgets, and coordinate all internal and external resources with subcontractors, vendors and consultants of multiple projects at one time Conduct comprehensive site analysis and draft preliminary layout plans, to identify potential sites for our portfolio Identify and engage with new vendors & suppliers, including F&B vendors to operate in our outlets Work closely with Upper Management, Commercial Director and Country Managers to determine the best way forward with each expansion project Work closely with the Sales and Enterprise team for customisation to new design and build, make revisions and modifications as needed Frequent, effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Make improvements on existing processes and establishing new processes to allow project scaling and adaptations Make improvements on existing properties including its equipment, facilities and fit-out Requirements University degree holder in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Arts, or any related discipline preferred Ideally, 8+ years of experience managing the design and delivery of commercial interior, retail, or hospitality projects from end to end Experience and a proven track record of project managing and completing construction projects to deadlines and within budget to an excellent quality standard Ability to manage financials, including setting projections and budgets, negotiations, tender documents, cost reporting, and financial reconciliation Experience in leading a team of designers and project professionals Excellent practical knowledge of design and construction methods Personable with strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptionally organized with the ability to multitask Thrives under pressure and is solution-oriented Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel, and AutoCAD Strong business acumen Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or a startup business would be an advantage Fluent in English
