Decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and other confections with finesse, paying attention to detail and aesthetics.
Stay up-to-date with current dessert and pastry trends and techniques, incorporating them into the menu.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of desserts and pastries.
Maintain inventory of dessert ingredients, tools, and equipment, and place orders as necessary.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards throughout the dessert preparation process.
Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
Assist in menu development, including suggesting new dessert offerings and seasonal specialties.
Maintain a clean and organized dessert and pastry section, following proper storage and labeling procedures.
