UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end software development and support for Customer Management and Compliance (which could be projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes).

This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support. As developer, you will partner closely with the Customer Management and Compliance leads to plan and manage transitioned deliverables

Other responsibilities include:

  • Act as the focal point of contact for technical resolutions while managing the incident, problem and knowledge management processes for the applications in scope
  • Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues
  • Manage 3rd party product vendors and integration partners to ensure application code fix deliveries are timely and good quality
  • Provide timely updates and report to management
  • Work with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of work in terms of problem remediation
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives relating to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management and governance
  • Providing technical leadership for the squad and enforce the Definition of Done
  • Acting as a servant leader that encourages collaboration and open communication
  • Enabling the squad and removing impediments and blockers for the squad
  • Providing insight, measurement, accountability and a positive working environment
Job Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics development using Dot Net or ReactJS
  • Basic knowledge in Windows OS commands
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases - traditional RDMS, such as SQL Server
  • Good at troubleshooting, root cause analysis with wide knowledge in IT operation.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral in English
