Development Engineer (ME)
Responsibilities:
Drive, design, develop, and execute mechanical-based projects. Manage and plan mechanical design activities to meet customer specifications. Establish product specifications based on customer requirements. Troubleshoot, plan, solve, and propose mechanical solutions for products. Develop test protocols and reports with project engineers. Conceptualize and create mechanical designs for new products, including drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, prototyping, and documentation. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and vendors/suppliers. Create and/or review technical evaluation reports. Create and/or maintain mechanical drawings of products.
Qualifications / Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field At least 2-3 years' of experience in mechanical design (sheet metal, CNC, plastic parts) Strong problem solving, technical skills and an eye for details Proficient in Solidworks, CAD, CAD simulation (or any equivalent 3D Software) Experience of working in medical device industry is preferred. Experience of working in optics related field is preferred. Able to converse in English and Mandarin Highly independent, possess critical thinking and strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
