Job Description


Our Client\'s Service/Product is Access Management for BASF Group globally. This service is part of our Cyber Security activities in our organization and is based on an inhouse tool which has been enhanced over last fourteen years. We are going to replace this application by a Standard Tool "One Identity Manager". We are working in a certified and audited area.

Change Request and Projects

  • Participates in global / regional Access Management projects, as project team members or project module lead. Solution design and implementation/development as part of a SCRUM team is main area of activities.
  • Plan and manage the work plan for delivery of projects. This includes updating the work plan, highlighting potential resource issues (i.e. resources shortage and excess by work areas), ensuring timely and quality deliverables, and managing project risks / issues.
  • Depending on project role and responsibilities, may have to work with outsourced development resources to deliver the application development, manage project activities, perform "As-Is" analysis, user requirements gathering, design "To-Be" processes, perform solution definitions, build/configure/test the application solution, train personnel and perform application roll-outs across the group of companies.
  • Reviews project deliverables and ensure quality. Ensure that the project develops sufficient documented knowledge capital to ensure that Access Management Applications management team can perform future support, maintenance and enhancements.
  • Support the transition in ensuring that all functional and technical knowledge is captured. Perform job shadowing and go-live preparations.
  • Review project deliverables of outsourced development resources for enhancements and projects. Monitors, consolidates and reports project status and update Project Lead / Supervisor.
  • Participate in the project activities as the team member to provide the technical solutions if required.
  • Provide the inputs to the Project team from the on-going support perspective.
Incident Management
  • Act as the expert support in the Global Service Delivery Model for global / regional Access Management Application to review information, analyze and provide solution for the incident tickets escalated from the Users or Service Desk Team - Application Team / Third-Party Service Provider.
  • Ensure the global / regional Access Management Application is meeting the terms and KPIs defined in the Service Level Agreement.
  • Work together closely with the External Vendor to resolve the incident raised for Access Management and other Applications Services.
  • Coordinate the cross-function incident activities in global / regional Access Management Application Service area with all the relevant parties.
Change Management
  • Evaluate the requirements of the change requests and smaller work requests for the global / regional Access Management Application.
  • Perform the pre-study based on the business requirements from the users where necessary.
  • Perform requirements study with user together with External Vendor / Third-Party Service Provider and fully understand the user requirements.
  • Verify the proposed timeline and effort estimation from External Vendor / Third-Party Service Provider before present to users.
  • Perform quality assurance test in the quality environment to ensure the user\'s requirements are met and comply with compliance with the Access Management guidelines.
  • Verify the validity of feedback collected from users during the UAT and make sure valid feedbacks are addressed.
  • Work together with the External Vendor / Third-Party Service Provider for global / regional Access Management Applications deployment activities where necessary.
  • Prepare the documentation and perform the knowledge transfer to all the relevant support teams.

RequirementsEducation
  • Bachelor Degree, majoring in the area of Information Systems / Computer Science related field or equivalent experience.
Working Experience
  • At least 5 years working experience in Software Development (focus!), Maintenance and Support functions.
  • At least 3 years working experience in application support preferably in global environment.
Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)
  • Agile application development (SCRUM, Kanban)
  • DevOps Methods (testing/automated testing, Continuous Integration and Deployment, eg.)
  • Ability to understand and utilize new technology.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practice.
  • General knowledge in Applications Tools and Technologies
