Summary

• The DG Delivery Migration Lead acts as a team lead, project manager and process expert and is accountable for overseeing the data migration execution for roll-ins and projects as well as performing project management tasks for select projects. The role is accountable for leading the DG Migration Specialists and supporting the design and build of the data migration processes and project management principles. This position has a direct impact on the overall ability to achieve high quality master data within METTLER TOLEDO.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take direct leadership of and management decisions for the DG Delivery Migration team, including take charge of topics and take executive decisions in support of all tasks and performance objectives of team members
• Engages and interfaces with all team members to meet their expectations and management expectations, including proper guidance, training, and support
• Motivates, inspires, and encourages team members to develop achievement-oriented team members, increasing overall team effectiveness
• Oversees and properly manages assigned projects and deliverables within DG Delivery team, including support for roll-in projects and related tasks
• Develops project plans and aligns critical path timeline with overall project plan and timelines; accountable to delivery successful test and production migration activities
• Delivers projects on time, within budget, and mitigates risks and manages issues related to assigned projects and roll-ins
• Defines, implements, and follows standardized and optimized project management processes
• Owns all data migration processes and documentation across all data objects
• Manages and approves changes to all extraction and transformation processes and tools, including value mapping, data preparation, and data de-duplication
• Approves the development of and changes to new or existing load processes and tools
• Works closely with and collaborate with Data Governance and Digital Business Services colleagues to maintain alignment during all projects, roll-ins and related tasks
• Ensures a "knowledge-sharing" culture by effective communication and documentation
• Maintains effective relationships with internal team members, business and project process teams, and IT application teams

What You Need to Succeed

Critical Competencies / Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, IT or related field preferred
• Good knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP CRM preferred
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in Data Governance or related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years' SAP experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years' leadership experience and people management skill preferred
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years' ETL data migration international project experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years' project management experience preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills; required in functional teams and with business partners
• Structured, detailed working methodology; continuous improvement approach and process oriented
• Language skills: Excellent English (written and oral), German, French, and/or other language beneficial, but not required
• Self-driven, motivated individual who can efficiently influence delivery in matrix organization
• Understands and respects different cultures
• Likes to work in a global and fast moving environment; ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
• Requires moderate travel (approx. 25%, up to 50%)
