Role Title - Digital Communications Specialist (Program Communications)
Role Summary
The Digital Communications Specialist supports internal communication and engagement across transformation and strategic programs. This role is responsible for creating compelling digital content, SharePoint sites, and newsletters that clearly communicate program goals, progress, and impact.
Working closely with program leads, solution managers, UI/UX designers, and marketing teams, the specialist ensures consistent messaging, strong visual identity, and effective stakeholder alignment across all internal communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Communication & Storytelling
Develop, manage, and maintain SharePoint sites or portals to showcase the program journey, milestones, achievements, and roadmap.
Create engaging narratives, visuals, and presentations highlighting transformation progress, product delivery, and business outcomes.
Translate technical or program updates into clear, concise, and visually engaging communications for internal audiences.
2. Content & Channel Management
Create, publish, and maintain content across internal digital channels including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and newsletters.
Plan and distribute regular program newsletters to keep leadership, delivery teams, and stakeholders informed and engaged.
Ensure consistency in tone, style, branding, and messaging across all communication materials.
3. Collaboration & Coordination
Partner with program leadership, solution delivery, and engineering teams to gather insights and updates for storytelling.
Coordinate with UI/UX and design teams to enhance content presentation and improve digital engagement.
Collaborate with marketing and corporate communications teams to align with enterprise communication standards.
4. Engagement & Impact Measurement
Track communication effectiveness using SharePoint analytics, engagement metrics, and feedback surveys.
Identify opportunities to improve reach, clarity, and engagement using data-driven insights.
Support internal campaigns, showcases, townhalls, or "open house" events to increase awareness and participation.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong written and visual communication skills with a storytelling mindset.
Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online content design (modern pages, web parts, layouts).
Experience in internal communications, corporate branding, or transformation programs.
Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and planning skills.
Proactive, creative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to simplify complex information.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in corporate or program communications, preferably within technology or transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with enterprise collaboration tools such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage, PowerPoint, Adobe Express, or similar platforms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
