Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Digital Content Acquisition & Partnership Specialist to join our team!

• To identify content on our digital platform from the four genres of the arts entertainment ecosystem, namely Music, Comedy, Dance, and Theatre.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to understand the appeal of different genres across target audience demographics.
• Conduct research on industry bodies, content producers and other key industry players.
• Coordinate meetings with industry bodies, content producers and other key industry players.
• Coordinate the logistics of business meetings with production houses.
• Identify opportunities for further acquisition based on consumption analysis.
• Identify trends and patterns from audience content consumption data for the genre or customer segments.
• Maintain a database of industry bodies, content producers and other key industry players.
• Provide relevant support for content licensing negotiations.
• Report research results and audience trends.
• Review content for required technical specifications and basic compliance to organisation\xe2\x80\x99s content guidelines.

• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree preferably in Arts or Broadcasting.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of working experience in a TV production company or OTT platform focusing on content acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop content licensing deals with a proven track record of closing licensing deals.
• Familiar with Malaysian Arts and Entertainment Industry with an in-depth knowledge of Malaysian artists.
• Excellent negotiation skills and business development skills.
• Commercial thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Team player.
• Good time-management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia) with excellent PR skills.
