The Role: QS Study Abroad (QSSA) is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive with a focus on the Southeast Asia market. This position will be within the QS Apply business unit and will be offered with flexible working conditions (hybrid model). The base office location will be in KL. The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for assisting in all the student recruitment marketing and activities in the region and growing QSSA SEA\'s presence across social media channels. The role will support in-person and virtual event operations/execution, as needed. The ideal candidate should have Industry background in Higher Education, proven and relevant experience in strong understanding of brand, digital marketing & content strategy, and up to date specialist skills, including student recruitment strategy, paid ads management, content marketing, digital communications and analytics, partnerships and more. This role will report into the Regional Director, APAC. Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Planning and delivering cross-platform digital marketing campaigns in line with the QS Apply objectives in SEA
  • Crafting ads copy, email, social media content and all other lead gen/event marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers (students)
  • Plan, execute and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Insta, Twitter, Facebook etc.)
  • Plan, execute and monitor online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website/landing pages
  • Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up to date
  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors
  • Finding new opportunities for online engagement in SEA
  • Providing regular internal performance reports, including marketing analytics and intelligence to inform our strategy and implementation
Ideal qualification/skills for this role
  • Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree or related qualification in Marketing
  • Experience in the Higher education/ Study abroad sector will be preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Experienced in writing creative copy, blogs or other content
  • A good understanding of youth and adult consumer culture in SEA or higher education industry
  • Experience working with HubSpot/Canva/Video tools and tech savvy
  • Good knowledge of PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media marketing, affiliate marketing
  • High level of attention to details
  • Confident and a self-starter with the ability to work as a team-player across multiple functions and departments
  • Creative, passionate, positive, outside the box thinker who likes to take initiative
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Excellent creative skills for producing marketing assets
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task under tight deadlines
