DIP Technician

Location: SENAI, JOHOR

Responsibility:

1. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot wave soldering machines and DIP assembly equipment.

2. Perform manual insertion, soldering, trimming, and rework of through-hole components.

3. Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of DIP and wave soldering equipment.

4. Inspect solder joints, component orientation, and PCV quality according to IPC-A-610 standards.

5. Follow and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for DIP processes and equipment handling.

6. Support engineering and production teams in resolving DIP-related issues and improving efficiency.

7. Ensure compliance with ESD control, 5S, and workplace safety practices.

Requirement:

1. Certificate/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.

2. Experience in DIP assembly, manual soldering, and wave soldering equipment operation.

3. Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, IPC standards, and ESD control.

4. Familiarity with wave soldering process setup and optimization.

5. Knowledge of repair/rework techniques for DIP soldering.

6. Strong attention of detail and problem-solving skills.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Good communication skills.

9. Speak & Written proficiently in Malay & English, Mandarin is a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM3,500.00 per month
