Role Responsibilities

Job Summary*

The role provides core management support to the Global Head, Security Architecture with a focus on Governance and Process Delivery

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Process management; supporting the development, design, documentation and maintenance of methodologies, processes and procedures within the team to ensure standardisation. Implement quality control for artefacts, such as independent validation checks on submissions received where required
  • Request management; assistance for project teams to go through the required phases of the Security Architecture process
  • Metrics & reporting; enable centralised focus on our reporting, ensuring consistency and quality of our messaging, managing reporting commitments and making available the timely and accurate provision of information to the relevant teams
  • Supporting the tooling requirements of the team, ensuring effective utilisation
  • Closely track regulatory timelines and commitments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure appropriate oversight and facilitate resolution of high impact risk and issues, with regular reporting to management and key stakeholders as required
  • Lead and manage key security architecture forums including domain technology councils, security architecture council and architecture review forums.

Qualifications

Training, licenses, memberships and certifications

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Technology, Business Administration or Management.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Cyber & Information Security in Banking and Financial services preferably combined with experience in top tier consulting firm.

\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of business management, resource planning, process management and optimisation and performance measurement.

\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 oral, written and presentation. Sound knowledge of MS-Excel, PPT, and Word.

\xc2\xb7 One or more of the following certifications will be preferred:

o Project Management Professional (PMP)

o Change Management (CCMP or similar)

o Certified Info Systems certification (CISM, or similar)

\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of working as a facilitator between Technology and Business

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of architecture and design principles relevant to cyber, technology, data & privacy, resilience.

\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, across various levels in the organization including senior leadership teams, in influencing key decisions taken in the business and in support teams.

\xc2\xb7 Customer focus, able to quickly build relationships and break down requirements to simplistic actions.

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical skills and ability to gather competitive intel, prioritise, summarise, make decisions, and work to tight timeframes and changing environment.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to solve complex problems with high number of stakeholders and conflicting interests.

Ability to both assess strategic priorities and to focus on detailed aspects of a function in order to drive effective delivery. Strong integrity, independence and resilience.
