As Director Group Corporate Services, you will take ownership of Human Capital Management & Corporate Services (HCMCS) activities on Strategies and Initiative, Operations, Policies and Procedure, ensure it is aligned and able to support manpower requirement to the Division to achieve the company\xe2\x80\x99s business, operational strategies and initiatives. You will also manage the Group\xe2\x80\x99s communications and branding strategies to generate awareness and promote positive image to the internal and external audiences in alignment with the Group\xe2\x80\x99s strategies directions and goals.
You will lead the development of IT infrastructure, business system, innovations and strategic planning of current and future ICT requirements or enablers to ensure key business strategies and processes are supported by systems that enable growth, flexibility and technological competency or leverage for the organisation and its economic development sectors. Responsibilities:
1. Group Human Capital Management:
  • Interpret Group overall business and operational strategies and plans. Strategize and direct the development and the formulation of the group long term HCM Plan.
  • Directly and indirectly monitor the HCM portfolio to ensure that the division operate in accordance with policies and regulations applicable as approved by the Board and in accordance with laws and regulations relating to all aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • Lead the HCM research on benchmarking of internal and external environment leading to the development of new HCM strategies and initiatives to ensure adaptability and strength in meeting HCM industry challenges in line with the Group\xe2\x80\x99s corporate strategies, target objectives and growth.
  • Formulate, review, streamline and communicate HCM policies and procedures, arising from changes on the organizational requirements to create a competitive, attractive, and supportive environment that enable improved business results.
  • Formulate and direct the development of HCM assurance framework to ensure compliance and consistent implementation of policy and procedures. Recommend interventions if required to improve policies and procedure.
  • Develop HCM Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Shared Services and establish Service Legal Agreements (SLA) with subsidiaries to support transformation exercise.
  • Ensuring HCM performance and deliverables comply to the agreements. Recommend interventions if required to improves performance/deliverables.
  • Drives the Group\xe2\x80\x99s initiative to implement a Performance Management System (PMS) or any new system group-wide projects
  • Oversee and analyse HCM performance (HCM cost, talents management and capability) on a regular basis and recommend appropriate initiatives to improve and enhance the talent\xe2\x80\x99s strategies and capability.
  • Lead organizational design by assessing the impact of new corporate strategies and business plans on organizational structures, roles, and process. Develop and recommend proposals of organizational, changes to support corporate business and operational needs.
  • Strategize, develop, and ensure the availability of subject matter experts and capability tool in various disciplines to ensure the successful execution of current and future Group Strategy and Policy strategies and initiatives.
  • Consults with leadership on strategic and tactical human resources issues with focus on developing a pipeline of talent.
  • Oversee the delivery of HCM services and resources to accomplish the corporate goals, strategies and priorities
  • Maintain proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state, federal governmental bodies, legislature, and the community at large.
  • Participate in the formulation of general management policies as a member of a senior management team.
  • Manage a team of the Group Human Capital Management Division.

2. Group Corporate Administration and Procurement:
  • Planning and coordinating procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes.
  • Lead the staff to perform their duties correctly that will push the company towards growth path.
  • Devise plans and annual budget that will be followed for the entire year.
  • Preparation and submission of annual report that provides performance of the divisions for the entire year.
  • Management of a conducive work environment that promotes good work culture.
  • Understand and execute divisional goals. Need to demonstrate that they are aware of all the metrics for success that have been established for their office.
  • Overseeing and executing budgetary activities. Implementing any orders within those budgetary constraints.
  • Basic management activities. Keeping all of the different projects moving and organized falls largely on their shoulders.

3. Strategic Procurement:
  • Creation and ongoing value creation with a world class supply base.
  • Development of organizational procurement strategy.
  • Creation and management of short-, mid-, and long-term goals and objectives.
  • Creation and improvement of best-practice based processes (e.g., leadership of high-value/strategic sourcing efforts).
  • Evaluation and management of business process outsourcing activities.
  • Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Selection and management of procurement systems.
  • Management of procurement staff in (and across) sourcing, contracting, transactional purchasing, supplier management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities.
  • Development of benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous improvement.
  • Building a Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) to help transform Procurement, and also support broader transformation of the value chain and the enterprise

4. Group Corporate Communications:
  • Create Corporate Communications strategies (include channel management, digital marketing, corporate communications, and internal communications programs) considering business objectives and needs, assessing current systems and supporting business cases for improvements.
  • Develop the Group\xe2\x80\x99s brand strategy, identity, positioning and policy and its intellectual properties and ensure brand integrity and alignment across the Group.
  • Collaborate with the Group leaders and Group Human Capital Management to drive communication activities that support employee engagement and ensure employee understand priorities and focus of the Group.
  • Provide end-to-end services to both internal and external stakeholder on Corporate Communications matters to ensure appropriate systems and processes are in place, as well as the related policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to the Group Chief Officer in relation to Corporate Communication matter for effective and efficient progress towards targets and goals, being financial and solution oriented.
  • Design and manage internal and external communication that are frequent, rich, consistent, and meaningful for our audiences with full alignment with strategic objectives of the Group.
  • Directly and indirectly monitor the Corporate Communications portfolio to ensure that the division operates in accordance with policies and regulations applicable as approved by the Board.
  • Oversee the delivery of Corporate Communications services and resources to accomplish the corporate goals, strategies, and priorities.
  • Maintain proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state, federal governmental bodies, legislature, external agencies, and the community at large.

5. Group Information Technology:
  • Develop IT strategies considering business objectives and needs, assessing current systems and supporting business cases for improvement, benchmark against best-in-class to drive competitive performance. Recommend interventions if required to improve performance/deliverables.
  • Ensure the operational integrity and/or the existing IT systems to optimise resource consumptions, simplify architecture and improve quality of product simultaneously.
  • Provide technology governance capabilities to help the Group meet the revenue and productivity goals
  • Responsible for the IT operational, strategic planning, risk management and provision resource for the delivery of IT projects and support, and proposed IT solutions to ensure delivery of quality work products across the Group.
  • Provide end to end services to both internal and external stakeholders on IT matters to ensure appropriate systems and processes are in place, as well as the related policies and procedures are adhered.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to the Group Chief Executive Officer in relation to IT matters for effective and efficient progress toward targets and goals, being financial and solution oriented.
  • Directly and indirectly monitor the IT portfolio to ensure that the division operate in accordance with policies and regulations applicable as approved by the Board.
  • Oversee the delivery of IT services and resources to accomplish the corporate goals, strategies and priorities.
  • Maintain proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state, federal governmental bodies, legislature, external agencies and community at large.
  • Participate in the formulation of general management policies as a member of senior management team
  • Identify of develop technology-based solutions, innovation and / or integration to add value and / or provide leverage for the organisation including acquisition of technological assets, Intellectual Properties, and / or Talents, internally or externally.
  • Provide strategic advice, research and analysis to support evaluation all of IT or Technology usage and / or investment in each economic development sectors or subsidiaries including organization\xe2\x80\x99s Shared Services.
  • Identify principal objectives, financial and other performance measure, as well as human capital and resources requirements for the division.
  • Manage a team of the Group Information Technology Division

Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Law and professional legal qualification with strong academic background
  • Experience working at senior management level or senior counsel level handling corporate and commercial matters
  • Been called to the Bar
  • Ability to relate to business and operational needs of stakeholders and translate to legal terms effectively
  • Solid knowledge of office procedures
  • A team player with leadership skills
  • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
