As Director Corporate Assurance, the incumbent will lead strategic and operational activity across two Councils ensuring effective decision making and committee processes by focusing the processes and procedures are carried out properly, ethically and lawfully and the Councils have sound governance in place. This role encompasses the decision-making processes, the scrutinization, audit and assurance functions, the responsibilities as well as the consistency and transparency in both statutory and non-statutory procedures; for both Councils and its members. Responsibilities:
To provide advisory, guidance and review of the Audit Planning Memorandum, Audit Approach, audit programs and Summary Review Memorandum
To manage applicable audit schedule, to deliver global audit priorities, and when appropriate, meet the changing business needs
To monitor and review the audit activities so that it is consistence in approach and reporting and on track with the audit schedule.
To develop GMP audit plans and conduct compliance audits on contract research organizations, CMO manufacturing operations, suppliers, and other service providers
To develop and implement actions in addressing adverse trends in product design that may impact its performance and product lifecycle; thus securing future business
To supervise the team; including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work to ensure quality standards are met.
To maintain robust audit and quality oversight plans for aligned TA
To identify (In alignment with risk assessments) audit substrate for scheduling and resource allocation, as appropriate
To develop and enhance QA procedures, guidance documents and audit tools; ensuring consistency globally
To guide and collaborate with QA Specialists; assuring adequate audit focus and timely knowledge transfer
Requirements:
MBA or other related discipline. Member of CPA, ISO, ASQ, GIAC, CISSP, CLIA, AS9100, 9001, GCIH, GCIA an added advantage
Proven experience and recognised credibility in the primary industry; with at least 20 years of working experience, and 5 years in Senior Manager/Head of Department/Director level position
Possess ability to relate to business and operational needs of stakeholders; with effective strategic financial planning and execution
Analytical, effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills to build high performance teams
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with strong business acumen
