Position Summary

Principal Responsibilities

1. To assist Production Department in reviewing, improving and ensuring current production processes are optimized.
2. To assist Production Department in process problem solving and ensuring quality requirements are achieved.
3. To provide guidance and training for key production personnel in handling of current and improved equipment and processes in a manner to enhance quality and productivity.
4. To support in the development of new product in terms of process flow, technology and required equipment.
5. Manage projects regarding Engineering matters, ie: procurement of plant equipment, consultation work in any field, automation etc.
6. To plan and supervise all facility related projects.
7. Ensure that plant equipment are properly maintained in good working condition through effective preventive maintenance program.
8. Ensure efficient utilization of utility such as electricity, water, air conditional and compressed air.
9. Manage housekeeping and pest control activities within the factory and facilities.
10. Liaise with government bodies on matters related to machineries utilities, environment and safety.
11. Ensure that the assigned service contractors performed the preventive maintenance task on all utilities equipment

13. Ensure that the facility is incompliance with all DOE (Department of Environment), DOSH (Dept. of Occupational Safety & Health), Corporate EHS (Environment Health Safety) & BOMBA (Fire Services Department) requirements
14. To perform other related duties assigned by the superior

Education / Experience Requirements

Qualification :
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience :
Minimum 15 years\' experience in manufacturing environment with at least 5 years heading the engineering function.
