Job Summary:-

Being a human resources business partner (HRBP), responsible to provide guidance and support for the accomplishment of hotel and department goals and objectives, by recruiting, developing, motivating and maintaining a highly competent workforce.

Duties:-

  • Familiar with the full functions of Human Resources Management.
  • Demonstrates leadership competencies and values, be the role model to the team.
  • Aligns management style, working practices and conduct with Shangri-La Group\'s operating standards and policies.
  • Ensures the operations efficiency of the department, including but not limited to recruitment, learning and talent development, compensation and benefits, colleagues\' engagement, performance management and other related functions.
  • Prepares relevant reports as required by GM as well as the Region as and when required.
  • Develops and implements HR strategy to achieve results in Balanced Scorecard as required on an annual basis.
  • Ensures the execution of the improvement action plan based on the data consolidated in the Shangri-La Culture Pulse Survey is effective and impactful.
  • Embraces and cultivates the Shangri-La\'s Culture (Our Vision, Our Purpose, Our Business, Our Beliefs and Our Nature). Be the role model.
  • Encourages colleagues\' engagement through internal events and training activities.
  • Facilitates and works with Department Heads on performance appraisal exercises, including administration, tabulation, and education to Managers to ensure fairness is applied pre and post process.
  • Provides guidance and support to the team, drives a high-performing and motivated workforce.
  • Provides support and ensures the progression of the Individual Development Plan (IDP) of high potential colleagues in the hotel.
  • Alerts hotel management proactively on potential employee relation issues and addresses them in a timely manner.
Requirements:-
  • Degree / Diploma in Human Resources or related fields.
  • At least 5 years\' experience in a similar position or capacity.
  • Fluent to communicate and write in English as well as local language.
  • Strong leadership and good interpersonal skills.
  • Great organizing, planning, strategy thinking, conceptualizing skills and ability.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local market, local labor laws and extensive experience in industrial relations.
