Job Summary:

This role will provide strategic leadership in driving the project business, as well as overseeing the overall projects execution to ensure the implementation of effective and efficient operational, technical and quality compliance, financial, risk assessment and mitigation activities to deliver multiple projects in accordance with contractual obligations and budget compliance to achieve company revenue and PBT target.

:

1) Project Operations Management

  • Plan, direct, monitor and control the implementation of multiple projects to ensure project timeline, quality and budget, project execution plans and performance are met.
  • Conduct monthly review to ensure accountability of the project business P&L (top and bottom line) for all project activities as well as accurate and timely reporting of financial deliverables and obligations.
  • Oversee the development of a monitoring and evaluation plan for risk management and compliance to avoid project progress delays or reputational damage.
  • Ensure that all operational work processes and documentations are in compliance with the Companys Quality, Environment, Safety and Health Management System.
  • Liaising with Clients and building strong working relationships.
  • Coordinate and resolve matters with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and/or relevant authorities to ensure smooth progress of the projects.
2) Business Development
  • To provide project leads based on previous work relationships and networking with Clients.
  • To lead Project Sales to achieve Annual LA Target.
  • To ensure secured LA with targeted Gross Margin %.
  • To develop Project Sales team to offer Home Furnishing products and ID Fit-Out Works for Residential Sales Gallery and Common Areas.
3) Project Contract, Collection and Client Relationship Management
  • Oversees Project Contract and QS team in matters related to project contract administrative and contractual matters.
  • Drive the achievement of monthly payment collection targets by ensuring prompt payment collection from Clients.
  • Attend payment collection meetings, final account negotiations and payment disputes with Clients.
  • To resolve any contract related matters that may arise with external parties, ie., Client and Sub-Cons.
4) Project Fulfilment and Tender Management
  • Oversees the project fulfilment department related to supply-chain and fulfilment, including order processing and planning, and supply-chain management.
  • Manage and evaluate vendors & Sub-Contractors performance with effective improvement actions.
  • Ensure Cost Savings and effective Project Order Planning and prompt delivery for project implementation and execution.
  • To establish ID Fit-Out supply-chain and competent Sub-Cons to support Project Sales and Site Operations teams.
  • Ensure project tender submissions are well managed and executed.
  • To support Project Sales team to attend project tender or final price negotiation with Client when needed.
  • To verify the Tender Price and Specification submission.
5) Continuous Improvement
  • Formulate, adopt and implement long term plans and continuous improvement for the project operations department, taking into consideration of economic environment, technology change, manpower requirements, government policies, development and any other market dynamics from time to time.
  • To lead departmental staff to participate in digitalization system and process integration program.
6) KPI and Monthly Reports
  • Monthly KPI and timely management reports submission to CEO and Management.


Job Requirements:
  • A relevant bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in the project industry
  • Proven sales track record in securing project tenders
  • Strong network of clients in the property interior fit out industry
  • A minimum of 5 years project management experience, with experience in managing high value Interior Fit out project
  • Strong business acumen, sound problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
